Breathe to Relieve Registration

Breathe to Relieve is a 45-minute guided group breathwork session intended to alleviate anxiety and release stress stored in the body.

Sessions are Sundays at 8:00AM PST/11:00AM EST and will last 45 minutes. All sessions are pay-what-you-can.

By connecting to our breath, we give our bodies the natural ability to shift from a state of stress to a state of rest (parasympathetic activation). It is during this state that we can begin to tend to the damage caused by stress. We circulate more blood, increase oxygen utilization, and tap into critical functions like digestion and cell repair. 

It is here that we finally allow ourselves to really look inside and see what is the source of our suffering. We can then begin to repair our lives in profound ways. Since we store our trauma and limiting beliefs in our bodies, we have to seek to heal our mind-body connection. It is when we use breath and other somatic (body) based practices that we can finally root into this connection and find release.

Breathe to Relieve is meant for levels, genders, and ages older than 18. Women who are menstruating or are or may be pregnant should notify the facilitator prior to session so modifications can be provided. Breathe to Relieve is not intended to cure or treat any medical conditions. Please consult a physician before participating in breathwork. Facilitator is trained in breathwork facilitation and is not medically certified.
